Hot Mail!

No, no new free books in my mail (and definately not Microsoft's Hotmail), but Janice Maynard's January 2009 release: Hot Mail.

So many books of hers I've yet gotten my hands on..

And my favourite book by Janice Maynard so far is Suite Fantasy.

Words. My Blog. Me. And My Favourite Books.

I was picking out some of my favourite books and browsing through them, reliving some of the best moments in my reading-life. And I know I've never really blogged about them. Why? I love them and ought to have alot to say about them right? Well, yes and no.

First, I have a hard time describing my feelings towards a favorite book of mine like -- (reaches to pick out a book) -- Pamela Morsi's Something Shady. The last chapter is just fantastic. But then, fantastic might not be the best/right description for it. I sooo do not have a way with words. I'd just go something like, oh-me-i've-never-read-anything-lie-this-oh-dear-i'm-gonna-cry-again etc.

Second, after reading most of my favourite books, I curl up in bed and wallow in self-pity for days. ☺

Need more books like this. Need more books like this. Need more books like this.

Ahhhh! It's Updated!

What's updated? Shannon McKenna's website that's what! I'd be so crazy not to post this. I've waited too damn long, and woweee that cover:

Shannon McKenna.

Out October 28, 2008.

Preorder at Amazon.
Visit Shannon McKenna.

Heroine: Tamara ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Hero: Val Janos ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

OH me. Her books takes forever to come out, and her website takes forever to be updated. But hey, it's still worth the wait. Though I hate waiting.

From the website:

Tamara’s a bad girl with a dangerous difference. Enter a terrifying, sexually charged world of thrilling suspense where love is the riskiest game of all . . .

Covert operations are what Val Janos is all about. The man is mysterious and sinister, and lethally hot. Only Tamara can understand the strange intensity that drives him to win at all costs—and only she can match it.

Val has one weak spot : Imre, the frail old man who befriended him when he was a scared, hungry kid abandoned on the streets of Budapest. But Daddy Novak knows about Imre, and Imre’s head is on the block if Val doesn’t deliver Tam up to Novak’s tender mercies . . .

A white-hot passion explodes when Tam and Val get too close. They both have too much to be afraid of, too much to hide. And now, for the first time, too much to lose . . .

Holy Mama. Val Janos. Mysterious. Sinister. And lethally hot. I don't think I can sleep tonight. I'm so excited! Yay for Tam!

I think I'm always late in knowing things.

Because I'm a Christie Ridgway Fangirl..

So here:
Unravel Me by Christie Ridgway

Unravel Me, out Nov 4th 2008. Go preorder at Amazon or at Barnes & Noble.

Hmm.. But I think the cover is not as pretty as her previous book How to Knit a Wild Bikini. I still like the covers of her older books more.
Want want want My first Christie Ridgway book ☺ Ahhhhh! ♥

Nevertheless, Christie Ridgway is already a must-buy author it for me. Visit her at her website here, and also at Riding With the Top Down where blogs with a bunch of other ladies. ☺

Why I like her books? Because they make me cry. And think alot.

Not into swapping, but can't resist this.

I luuuuvvve this cover.I got my hands on this solely because of the cover (hot!) and the author (because of Susanna Carr actually, Jenesi Ash is her pseudonym.)

I'm not into everything else (threesome, bondage, woman-woman, toys etc.) other the normal lurving in my romances. But I really like how the characters grow to understand more about themselves and their partners because of this swap. I still don't really know Caleb (yeah I should re-read), but then to have someone cater to you without any complaints is really heaven. Jamie's got herself a saint. And Aidan? Oh, I ♥ Aidan. I adore his kind. Dominating and CARING. Wish I'm Mia.

* Sigh, I had hoped there was more at the end.

A side note, I love Susanna Carr's Lip Lock and Ex, Why, and Me very, very, very much. So here:
