Stupid stupid rain totally killed my mood to go book-shopping.
The list of books I planned to get today:
Susan Elizabeth Phillips
- First Lady
- Kiss an Angel
- Match Me If You Can
- Breathing Room
- Just Imagine
- It Had to Be You
Nalini Singh
- Visions of Heat
I still have alot more SEP books to read (lucky me). And I've heard (read) so much about Nalini Singh so I thought it's about time to at least try one if her books.
*Shrugs* Another day perhaps. It's never to late to shop for books anyway. Now I just have to dig into my lil' TBR pile. (Yay Angela Knight!)
Stupid stupid rain.
"I love you, my Sparhawk, and I am torn between wishing that I were a man so that I could share your danger and, if need be, lay down my life for you, and glorying in the fact that I am a woman and can lose myself in your embrace." ~ Queen Ehlana - THE SAPPHIRE ROSE by David Eddings

Words. My Blog. Me. And My Favourite Books.
I was picking out some of my favourite books and browsing through them, reliving some of the best moments in my reading-life. And I know I've never really blogged about them. Why? I love them and ought to have alot to say about them right? Well, yes and no.
First, I have a hard time describing my feelings towards a favorite book of mine like -- (reaches to pick out a book) -- Pamela Morsi's Something Shady. The last chapter is just fantastic. But then, fantastic might not be the best/right description for it. I sooo do not have a way with words. I'd just go something like, oh-me-i've-never-read-anything-lie-this-oh-dear-i'm-gonna-cry-again etc.
Second, after reading most of my favourite books, I curl up in bed and wallow in self-pity for days. ☺

I spy Heaven, Texas.
I saw someone reading Heaven, Texas by Susan Elizabeth Phillips on the bus on my way home from work today.
The cover that I saw is the one in the middle.
Sometimes, I get kinda excited seeing someone reading a book on the bus or train. I always try to see what book they're holding and occasionally do strain my neck doing so. But it's interesting knowing what others around you go for.
The only two Susan Elizabeth Phillips books that I've read so far are Nobody's Baby But Mine andThis Heart of Mine. These stories are so wonderful and beautiful and sweet with really fun situations, like that softball game in This Heart of Mine. That part totally rocks. One of the best written situations I've ever read. I'm definately going to read more of her books in the future, starting with all those in the Chigaco Stars series. Heaven, Texas is one of the books in this serie too.
