Drive Me Wild.

Drive Me Wild

Drive Me Wild out December 30, 2008. Pre-order @ Amazon. Visit P.J. Mellor.

My first book by P.J. Mellor is Pleasure Beach (which is also my first Aphrodisia book). That book made me continue looking out for her works and so far, I've not been disappointed. I have one more Aphrodisia book in my TBR, Naughty Naughty also featuring P.J. Mellor, with Melissa MacNeal, & Valerie Martinez. *Puts book on top of the TBR pile.

Amended book covers...

Saw the cover for the mass market of Jill Shalvis' Get a Clue at her website:

Get a Clue At Jill Shalvis'

I liked it~ I've yet read the book, so maybe I just might get the mass market version...

But then after a search at Amazon...

Get a Clue At Amazon...

The bottom part is blurred out, that's kinda disappointing. Which reminds me of the cover for P.J. Mellor's Pleasure Beach:

Pleasure Beach~

The more censored version on the right in the above pic is what I got. Maybe the cover on the left (ripped from Amazon) is the initial cover design... I definately didn't see it at any bookstore. I would have like to have the cover that shows more bod though. It does make the book feel more sexy.

And here's something I've been dying to post:

Come As You Are~

Come As You Are by Amy J. Fetzer, coming this November. Seeing the mass market for Get a Clue reminds me of this. Love it!

Back on the topic of cover changes....

Inferno!!!

This cover for Vivi Anna's Inferno is what I see everywhere on the web before the book was released. I was so excited, and also after reading the excerpts at the author's website, I couldn't wait for it to be released.

But to my extreme disppointment, the cover changed:

Inferno...

I don't reeeeally like the new cover one bit.

I have already decided to get this book a long time ago, but with the cover change, it just kinda lessen my enthusiasm to buy it so quickly. Yea I'm shallow like that... So, maybe later... when I get a pay raise or something...

Anyway, I'm just lucky to have saved a copy of bigger image file of the cartoon cover, (I think I got it from Amazon, a 590 x 390 pixel image heh) Yay! It's for a keepsake, I really liked that cartoon cover. Hades had a nice package and I love Kat's hair~

Smile baby.

*Smile baby*

Note the smiley face? It's just the cutest thing I've ever saw in my romances. This is a page from P.J. Mellor's anthology Give Me More. It's part of a note that the hero left for the heroine. It's sooo cute. Did I mention before that P.J. Mellor's heroes are the cutest?

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Everytime I see a new book coming soon by one of my favorite authors, I have a tiny orgasm.

Naughty, Naughty.

This reminds me of a book by the same title..

Another hot cover that I like:

Body Moves.

Read the excerpts for Body Moves here.

“You think I have a man in here. I don’t have a man in here.”

“Actually you do.” He pushed his way inside, taking a second to kick the door shut before he pinned her against the wall with the press of his body against hers.

All Fired Up.

I'm hot.

I had fun reading All Fired Up by P.J. Mellor. It's funny at times, and those accidents that happened with Tricia are really outrageous. The candle fire, dumpster incident, and if it's me, I'll never have the courage to show my face ever again.

The short marriage proposal scene was kinda cute. I thought Nick is pretty brave and romantic to have done the climbing-the-ladder-to-the-her-window-to-propose thing, complete with tux, flowers and the ring. Even though Tricia's answer was a hell, no coupled with window-slamming on Nick's fingers, it makes a great prelude to make-up sex later anyway.

And even another embarrassing situation proceeded the make-up sex. How many crazy situations can you squeeze into a novella? It's entertaining for me.

I've got 5 new books!

*swoon!*

So, envy me.

Yesterday, I only planned go to renew my free membership at a bookstore than then and grab some Aphrodisia books, but I "accidentally" checked my email before I left my home, and ended up printing discount coupons emailed from another bookstore, and thus making a trip there too.

And wow, I remember having a big headache (there're just too many damn books that I want).

I decided to pick up Erin McCarthy's High Stakes and Bit the Jackpot, and also Men at Work (which is related to Surf's Up). Reasons being I need more sexy vampires in my life now and that these books rarely turn up at any bookstores anymore (because I'm always late in discovering books).

Anyway, I was ALMOST wanted to jump and scream for joy, seeing P.J Mellor's Give Me More on the shelf.

Ever since I've read P.J Mellor'sPleasure Beach (My first Aphrodisia book actually), her books became an automatic must-buy for me. Her heroes are cute (I know I use this adjective alot) and I feel that her stories have a little bit of the fairytale theme, those love-at-sight (ok it's more of lust-at-first-sight) and got-married-and-live-happily-ever-after thingies.

And how can I not pickup The Firefighter too?
