Stupid stupid rain totally killed my mood to go book-shopping.
The list of books I planned to get today:
Susan Elizabeth Phillips
- First Lady
- Kiss an Angel
- Match Me If You Can
- Breathing Room
- Just Imagine
- It Had to Be You
Nalini Singh
- Visions of Heat
I still have alot more SEP books to read (lucky me). And I've heard (read) so much about Nalini Singh so I thought it's about time to at least try one if her books.
*Shrugs* Another day perhaps. It's never to late to shop for books anyway. Now I just have to dig into my lil' TBR pile. (Yay Angela Knight!)
Stupid stupid rain.
"I love you, my Sparhawk, and I am torn between wishing that I were a man so that I could share your danger and, if need be, lay down my life for you, and glorying in the fact that I am a woman and can lose myself in your embrace." ~ Queen Ehlana - THE SAPPHIRE ROSE by David Eddings

Jack Harrington.
Not John Harrington the Third. Just Jack Harrington. And he got me at "As soon as I'm not half-drunk, I plan to kiss the hell out of you." ♥ Well I do like him a hell lot already before this. (He broke his bra? Haha!) And he's Meljean Brook's hero in the novella Thicker Than Blood (from the anthology FIRST BLOOD).
I LOVE the things Jack says. ALL the right things. I could list them here. But it would be more enjoyable to read the book and find them all out though.
Jack is just perfect for Annie. There isn't a moment when I want to smack him. I wanna cuddle him. "Hurrah for me. Another nap." Heee. I'm really happy for Annie that she's got Jack now. I'm glad that she readily accepts him back to be around her instead of being difficult much. It's hard to find a guy who doesn't straight-forward push you to learn what he wants. Jack just does it sneakily. ☺ "I'm high on love, Annie." Aww, he makes me smile. Annie is lucky lucky lucky. I'm happy for myself too. Back to finding new good stuff.
I will definately check out the other books in the series. I'm sooo curious about Milton! She's in the book, Demon Angel. Hmm, she's called Lilith there. Anyway, thank you to Meljean Brook (again and again and again) for holding a giveaway contest that allows me to win this book. ☺

Rydstrom Rydstrom Rydstrom!
I'm more than a week late in this but still ahhhh! Cover revealed!
From Kresley Cole's Forum:
Kiss of a Demon King
by Kresley Cole
After Sabine, the Queen of Illusions, lures and traps Rydstrom Woede in her lair, the ruthless warrior fights to resist her seduction. But his fierce demon nature lusts for her delicate body and won’t be denied. Even as Rydstrom plots to escape, he still intends to claim Sabine as his own—on his terms.
Her downfall: the battle-scarred demon who vows
When Rydstrom breaks free, her abducts Sabine, turning the tables. Now she’s the one struggling to resist his delicious torment. With each relentless encounter, Sabine hungers more for her merciless adversary.
They were never supposed to want each other this much. . . .
If they can defeat the sinister enemy that stands between them, will Sabine make the ultimate sacrifice to save her demon? Or will the proud king lay down his crown and arms to keep his sorceress?
When is this book coming out? I can't remember. I wanna scream.

Read this and (no surprise) loved it.
I finished Sundays at Tiffany's earlier this week, and wow, what a magical book. Michael is sweet man and I'm just so happy for Jane that she found him again. He basically lights up her life and if he's gone, there's kinda no point in going on with the story anymore. Love the happy epilogue. It's just what I wished for. The story makes me cry and after reading it, I felt very drained, as with James Patterson's previous two romances. Ahh romance.
This book reminds me a little of Sasha White's My Prerogative, with the Heroine written in first person and the Hero in third. I love how both books are written this way, and it totally works for me.

My new eBook reader device!
Ok, it's not a device like Kindle, it's a mobile phone (Samsung Omnia!). I used to read eBooks on my old mobile phone too, but I find the screen too small, so this new phone (which of course has a bigger screen than my old one) is just perfect for me.
Here's a view of my small library (I'm using the Mobipocket reader):
^ I only threw afew books into it. I still have a bit more on my desktop PC. Can you make out the titles?
^ Here's a page from Running Wild by Sarah McCarty. Hot book!
There's this problem with the battery dying very fast..
Anyway, I still love holding the paperbacks. But reading eBooks is really a great alternative to it. I can buy a book that I have a sudden craving for and start reading it in a matter of minutes. Plus, for me, it's a good damn lot cheaper than importing the book from Amazon. So I just alternate between buying eBooks and paperbacks.
Yeah yeah yeah.
