Man Candy.

To celebrate my new blog design, I've chosen five delicious hunks to grace this post. I wanted to say "five book covers" instead of "five delicious hunks", but com'on let's admit it: it's the man that make the covers. So let's start the ball rolling with Jennifer Apodaca's Extremely Hot:

How can you deny those eyes?

I went phwoarr when I saw this cover on Amazon. Those eyes those eyes those eyes those eyes were sliently being chanted in my head over and over again. How can one resist them? He current holds the no.1 spot in my "Hottest Dude on a Book Cover" List. Ranked no.2 is Donna Kauffman's The Great Scot:

Holy Hunky Great Scot oh mama!

Yes, he used to hold the no.1 spot. I thought nothing can beat this, but guess I was wrong. And then this guy is stolen from HelenKay Dimon's blog:

Sexy Cleft.

It's the cleft on the chin. The manly cleft. Hot as hell. Someone told me that clefts and dimples are actually facial defects, but they ended up making the face look good, therefore nobody cared. Sooo, if you have a friend with pretty dimples and you are jealous of him/her, you can actually go up to him/her and say, "EEEwww! There's something wrong with the bones in your face!" Hahaha, but I digress. Back to the male-ogling.

Hot As Hell's blue cover reminds me of Charlotte Mede's Explosive. I've posted the cover before, but what the heck, it deserves to be posted again. And I just realised the hotties on both covers are looking in the same direction:

I. Love. You. Muah.

Lastly is Sylvia Day's A Passion For Him starring Nathan Kamp:

Nice pecs.

Nathan Kamp is the only romance cover model who's name I know, because I remember coming across his name on a reader's blog, and that reader is a big fan of him. I guess the name got stuck then. Based on his portfolio here, he IS hot. Nice to see him on more than one cover, but then I'd love to see fresh faces too.

Not surprisingly, all five books are Brava books, which always have the best covers out there. Great marketing. My poor piggy-bank.

I've got 3 new books. So drum roll please.

Buying new books every week is really a bad habit. I feel guilty when paying for them at the cashier. But after I tuck them comfortably on my shelf, I felt a great sense of satisfaction (got-my-hands-on-them kind of satisfaction) followed by dread real quick after realising how many books I have in my TBR pile.

I know of others with a hundred books waiting to be read. Mine is peanuts compared to them. But for my standards, having more then 5 currently and knowing that there will be more books coming and no time to read them -- sucks.

Anyway, Introducing my three new books:

My nose is stuck!

I just realised I got Viva Las Bad Boys! (also by HelenKay Dimon) on 9th Aug 2006 (which is Singapore's birthday!) I got this book, Your Mouth Drives Me Crazy, on 8th Aug 2007. So it's just a day short of a year. Damn. I really hate waiting. But luckily her next book is released on March 2008.

But isn't that like, 7 months later? Damn.

Next!

YEA YEA OH YEA!

Perfect Kisses! I love both Susan Johnson's & Sylvia Day's writings, and as for Noelle Mack, I'm still reserving judgment. I've got one of her book, Three published under Aphrodisia.

I do like Three and had enjoyed reading it. I only didn't like the fact that the hero and heroine didn't get married, though they did pledge to stay together. I'm all for marriages and having babies in the endings.

Next!

Yup, it's Sand, Sand, Sex

I wonder anyone remembered this page I created. It's about the title Sun, Sand, Sex. I checked back the newly-revamped Kensington page here, and they amended the title (correctly) with the comma instead of the "and" (as in Sand, Sand and Sex). But the kept the wrong spelling of Jennifer Apodaca's name!

Aha!!

Jennifer Apodaca and Shelly Laurenston are new to me. I can't wait to read Linda Lael Miller's story! She's one of my very first romance authors and I've enjoyed most of the books she have written. It's been quite a while since I last read her work.

Sun, Sand ("," or "and") Sex?

Aha!

I found something questionable on the Kensington website.

Sun, Sand, Sex is the title on the cover of this definately-a-must-buy June '07 Brava release (by Linda Lael Miller, Jennifer Apodaca, and Shelly Laurenston. Please see supporting image as of below:

must buy must buy must buy must buy

But wait! On this kensington page, the title is indicated as Sun, Sand And Sex above the ISBN. (Note that the comma after Sand is replace by an And.) Evidence as below :

Huh?

Yes, I have nothing better to do at this darn moment.

Updated: I just realised that Jennifer Apodaca's name is spelt wrongly too! Shame!
